That was inspired by a beautiful picture that unfortunately I forgot to save the name of the author, I just remember she was someone from ETSY. I am really sorry. I will be more careful next time…

If you do something that will amplify their minds, most of them will be against you, nobody likes groin pains. Only a few can stand it. Most are just too lazy and accommodate.

I hate groin pains, but I prefer them than die small in my little world. Anyway, I always fight back till I realise what is really happening. After that I just try to endure. Wu wei. I can stand as long as I decide I can.

I received the link for this video from ETSY and found the idea intriguing.

I had a though one of these days that much amused me: How would it be if Disney did porn? I think it would look like “Made in Heaven Paintings”, actually the sex pictures of the contemporary artist Jeff Koons with his then-soon-to-be-wife porn actress Cicciolina.

I am not going to get in the discussion of what is art and what is not, and if explicit sex can be art or it is just plain porn. I only can offer my personal opinion: I think explicit sex can be art, it does not mean that a porn film would be in the art films section. For example: “L’empire des sens” is an art film, “Deep Throat” is just porn (in my humble opinion that could be utterly wrong, since I never watched “Deep Throat”, but I just couldn’t think about any other famous porn film). So, Yes, I think that the pictures of Jeff Koons it is art, but I do not like it or think it is good art. Not because of the explicit sex part, but because it is kitsch, not cool kitsch, but cheesy kitsch. Showing us his dick and his fiancé cunt (that was no novelty) in a sort of Disney environment does not make it a cutting edge art work.

I know it is not knew, I just wrote about it because I was thinking about the limits of art, and I think that they do not exist, but it does not mean that just because you try to shock – and I do not think this specific work of him is even remotely shocking, it is just embarrassing – you are doing interesting art.

Oh, well, that’s it. I should be doing something else right now…

I have an obsession for some colours. It does not mean that I need to dress them from head to feet, but from time to time I have to look at them. It does not necessarily mean that if I need a colour that this is my favourite one – by the way, my favourite one is green.

Lately I have been loving turquoise. What I love about this colour is it calming effect and its dubious status: it is not green, it is not blue, but something in between them, and offer me what I like better in both colours.

Since it is a relaxing colour it could be used in bedrooms, and it is good for bathrooms as well, since it recalls the idea of water and cleanliness. Nevertheless it has a cooling effect, so it is nice to have objects with this colour decorating your house during summer, but it is not so cosy during winter. That is why I would suggest to people to have some decorative objects that you can rotate in accordance with the season of the year and your mood; it is cheaper and easier than change the colours of the walls and furniture.   

 To a full experience in turquoise, just look at the sky in a sunny day.
